Meeting Minutes Head-On

This article in the Utica OD reminded me of a question asked by Laura at bbmoo's relations about Rome Common Council Meetings. It turns out that a tape of meeting minutes is available for $1 upon filing a Freedom of Information Request. The meetings themselves are still often closed and this request in writing, while legal, is more excessive than other localities.

If anyone wants to go through the effort, I would be happy to post any records of Common Council Meetings so that everyone may enjoy them.
