Budget Denied

The Teachers Union won. I'd like to say the City of Rome decided this, but 800 Rome teachers was more than enough to swing the vote. The School Board should know that the Union is in charge of the budget. The only way for them to teach the teachers a lesson is to cut the budget even more. Cut more teacher positions. Any budget the Board passes will be smaller than the contingency figure, so they don't need to put it to a vote.
