Vote No on the School Budget

Today is school budget day around New York. Now I know that Rome's budget is actually smaller than the possible contingency budget and the teachers hate it which are both good points. However, I think the school board needs some fear put into them. I also think they should all be voted out, but that's unlikely. Even if the budget passes, it would be good to make it a squeaker. If Rome were smart, we would have voted the budget down last year, like in New Hartford. Now we have to make up for two years of bad fiscal decisions (and then some, like that $50 million school).

And take a look at America's North Coast for an idea of the ridiculous waste in school budgets all over.
